The walk is led by Pauline Peel with Jeanette Wiley and Wendie Hirsch. It is an easy walk of about 1.5 kms.

The award-winning writer Jessica Anderson lived at 56 Villa Street as a child and early teenager in the 1920s and early 1930s. Her novel Tirra Lirra by the River won the Miles Franklin Award and Stories from the Warm Zone and Sydney Stories draw on her memories of her Brisbane childhood.
